Hello Colleagues and Students,
We are excited to share with you that we will be upgrading the campus network to increase bandwidth and better protect us from cybersecurity threats.
As a part of the upgrade, the entire SCU network will experience outages starting Friday 8/29 at 8:00pm and ending Saturday 8/30 8:00am. As a result of this disruption, users on campus will not be able to access resources on the Internet such as the MySCU Portal, GMail and Workday, and off-campus users will not be able to reach the campus network.
Once the work is complete, we will send out an email letting everyone know that the network is running at full capacity.
The changes that we are implementing are extensive and unanticipated issues can arise. Once the maintenance is done, if you find that any of your network activity is not functioning as you’d expect, please contact the Technology Help Desk for support at 408-554-5700 or techdesk@scu.edu.
