Smart Print printing options for the Windows OS

Regardless of your operating system, if you plan to print on campus using Smart Print pay-for-print system, then you need to be connected/authenticated to Eduroam; have Clearpass OnGuard installed; and have an SCU approved anti-virus software. 
If you choose to use SCU's visitor WiFi, SCU-Guest, then you are restricted to basic Internet access and will not have access to any SCU network resources for SCU registered students, i.e. MySCU, Camino, Work Day for Students, Smart Print, etc.

What is Smart Print and what are the two two ways to print and release a print job on campus?
Smart Print is a pay-for-print system used by all registered students to process print jobs. You can use the Smart Print system in either two ways: Smart Print Print Center or Smart Print Client.

To use Smart Print Print Center, make sure your are on our campus WiFi network, Eduroam, have Clearpass OnGuard installed, and have an SCU approved anti-virus software. Next, you can open any web browser and visit https://sp2.scu.edu. For a detailed tutorial on how to login, review, and release your print job, visit SCU Academic Technology Smart Print Print Center support site. NOTE: You can download the latest Smart Print client for Windows OS here and please remember to download the correct printer drivers for Charney Hall. All Smart Print printers are HP monochrome or Color.
