Why am I getting a Windows activation notification while working from home?
For SCU employees who have a SCU issued computer (laptop or desktop) and are currently working from home for an extended period of time, you may notice the Windows 10 Enterprise activation notification. If you are on campus, then your SCU licensed copy of Windows 10 Enterprise automatically checks in with SCU's Microsoft license server. At home, you simply need to re-establish your connection to SCU's license server via SCU's VPN gateway using SCU's VPN client. Check out our video below explaining this notification issue.
Faculty/Staff: If you don't have the VPN client yet, then please review our video to help you install, setup and connect via SCU VPN. Make sure to that you have also enroll for the Duo app and have your Duo account associated with your mobile phone.
