I have a student that needs to use a FM system issued to them by SCU's Office of Accessible Education. How do I use the transmitter and lavaliere?

Faculty - If approached by a student with hearing disabilities and uses a FM system provided to them by SCU's Office of Accessible Education, then do the following:


Info
- Make sure the transmitter is on. Wear it around your neck or in your pocket away from your smart phone, especially GSM antennas.
- Attach the lavaliere microphone on your person that is both comfortable for you and able to capture your voice clearly.



Idea
- Avoid using any other wireless devices (Charney lavaliere or hand-held) near the transmitter.
- Student may ask you to bend the podium microphone towards you when speaking to lessen interference on their receiver.
