AVG causes Examplify install to show "invalid system configuration."
You opt to uninstall AVG anti-virus and use the approved antivirus software provided by Santa Clara University IT. Please review the
link here. You will want to check out the section marked
:SentinelOne for Student Computers or Personally Owned Computers."
A workaround for AVG if you still plan to keep using it as our antivirus application.
If you are upgrading and/or perhaps installing Examplify for the first time and using AVG anti-virus, you may get this warning message from Examplify stating, "invalid system configuration."
AVG will also show that a driver has been blocked. If so, then click on the Settings,
Make sure to uncheck the box next to Enable Self-Defense and Enable Hardware-assisted virtualization
Restart your computer for settings to take effect.
